Phone App: Simply Vino

The Challenge

This project challenged me to first come up with an application that is unique and a viable product - then wireframe, mockup, and finally create a prototype of the application.

The idea for this application stemmed from my own inexperience - in wine. I decided to create something for the “wine explorer” who wants to upgrade their wine drinking experience and discover their new favorite wines.

The Outcome

The main feature of this application is its search capabilities. There are three ways to search for a wine - by its name, through filters, or by meal pairings. After finding a wine they enjoy, they can save it into the virtual “Wine Cellar”, where they can collect, categorize, and save favorite wines.

I originally created wireframes for a personal profile, but after working on the app further, I realized that at the moment, a personal profile is unnecessary.

The hope is that through the simplicity of the application, users can navigate easily and find the wines they’re looking for.
